从此次中方合作单位是中国精密机械进出口总公司来看，此次卡塔尔军方引进可能是CH-4侦察打击一体化无人机，此前伊拉克已经引进了这种无人机，并且在打击极端组织的作战之中发挥了重要，不过卡塔尔倒不是因此CH-4在伊拉克的实战而引进这种无人机，因为卡塔尔属于逊尼派国家，而伊拉克则是什叶派主导，此前沙特引进翼龙而不是CH-4就是这个原因，此次卡塔尔引进CH-4倒有跟沙特一别苗头的竟味，因为两国一直在为争夺逊尼派领袖而较劲。
